Keep Nashville unique, protect Mill creek!

Mill Creek is the only place in the world where you can find the Nashville Crayfish. Yet like many other Nashville landmarks and features, development threatens the continued existence of this endangered Nashville native.

Our Organization

Save the Nashville Crayfish is a grassroots organization dedicated to protecting Mill Creek and the Nashville Crayfish. The Nashville Crayfish is an endangered species that can only be found in the waters of Mill Creek in Nashville. Mill Creek is a natural oasis for wildlife in the heart of Music City that is threatened by overdevelopment. All donations and proceeds are directed to our own efforts to save the Nashville Crayfish or are directed to these efforts by Cumberland River Compact and Southern Environmental Law Center.
